Essential Oils

Ancient Medicine

Essential oils have been used for thousands of years and have been used as anointing oils in  biblical times. There were no convenient stores or pharmacies on every main avenue, instead, there were herbs, spices and plant bark known to support health and healing.

The Egyptians used the oils as medicine and burial practices; the ancient Chinese believed in the power of essential oils that some are cooling while others are warming, some oils invigorate and others sedate; The Greeks were Botany trailblazers.  Hippocrates is referred to as the "father of medicine" who documented over 200 different herbs; the essential oil techniques from Greece traveled to Rome and after the collapse of the Roman Empire, Persia pickup these healing techniques and mastered the essential oil distillation process which is one of the methods that is still used today.

Essential oils are highly concentrated, natural plant-based aromatic fluids that can work wonders on the skin because it can reach the cellular level of the body and of their ability to alleviate feelings of stress and anxiety, fight insomnia and balance hormones. We use essential oils in our products for therapeutic and holistic healing. Users should be aware that "natural" products are also synthetic chemicals, and can be hazardous when used in the wrong way. It is important to follow the advice of a trained professional when using essential oils.
